This adorable girl is not Deaf but CODA (Child of Deaf Adults). It is impressive that she was willing to use sign language at her holiday concert that her parents could understand her.   I loved doing the holiday concert at E.C.Drury for the Deaf in Milton but luckily my mom could understand me because we provided the interpreters for the concert.  However, this is a different situation for the CODA who go to hearing schools and most of the school boards are unable to provide the interpreters for some reason such as lack of knowledge or lack of funding. So, the result is this cute girl decided to use sign language for her parents to understand the concerts.

 I love how it gets the attention from the world right after this crazy headline about a "Fake" sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela's memorial.
